The Van
Jaarsveld family has a deep rooted love for the Brahman breed and is
known as outdoor people with a love for nature and animals in
general. Marinus grew up having animals around him and having a lot
to do with live stock and due to his love for livestock he did a
Auctioneer course in 2002 with the purpose to hold livestock
auctions. In 2008 after having 10 years’ experience of testing
and trying various breeds we became involved in breeding with stud
animals. Our endeavor is to produce good adjusted veld animals with
outstanding walking ability, female animals with outstanding
maternal characteristics that produces a good veld calf on a yearly
basis. All our animals are strictly screened for fertility and
temperament and also grazes upon strenuous Heart Water, Red Water
and Gall sickness veld.
